4:30-4:45pm ~ Arrive to St. Joseph’s Hall and bring candles labeled with your name to be blessed.

4:45 – 5pm ~ Procession from Saint Joseph’s Hall to Church for a Candlelit Mass at 5pm.

After Mass ~ Join us for a Cookies & Hot Chocolate Reception for All!

Candlemas is an ancient Feast of our Lord commemorating Mary and Joseph’s presentation of Jesus in the temple. Central to the celebration is the theme of light. In Moses’s time, the Shekinah was the column of light that led the Israelites by night, so Catholics form a column of lit candles and process into the church for this beautiful feast. Please note: Our 5 p.m. Vigil Mass on Saturday will be our Candlemas Celebration. Join us!
