Confirmation happens at the end of the 10th grade year. Beginning this year students will have remote preparation during 9th grade and specific preparation during the 10th grade year. Students must be registered and attending faith formation or Catholic school in both 9th and 10th grade to be eligible for Confirmation. Students will have an entrance interview with the Youth Minister in spring of their 9th grade year and a readiness interview in the winter of their 10thgrade year.
9th grade Confirmation preparation will include monthly journal and reading assignments, and completion of Confirmation paperwork by May 1st of 9th grade year.
10th grade Confirmation preparation will be a made up of a Fall retreat, monthly journal and reading assignments, service opportunities and a Spring day of reflection. Participation in the retreat and day of reflection are required in order to be Confirmed in the Spring.
