January 5 – Baptism & Confirmation
Baptism is death—the death of Jesus Christ through which we are born again. In order for us to overcome death and sin and enter into eternal life, we must receive this sacrament; we must die with Christ. We will explore this and probably the sacrament most often misunderstood by Catholics—Confirmation, through which we receive a special strength to defend the faith.

January 12 – The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
“The Eucharist is above all else a sacrifice.” (Pope Saint John Paul II) In Baptism, we became priests of Jesus Christ able to offer ourselves to the Father, but only in union with the offering of Jesus Christ. Join us as we explore the sacrificial meaning of the Mass so that you, too, can make a pleasing offering to God.
