Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, MOQ has a new tile floor in the church (in the aisles around our pews). The tile matches the existing tiles and marble already in the church, and adds beauty and warmth to the worship space. The carpeting for the Narthex is expected in mid-October. Stay tuned.
Update 9-17-26 – Work is moving along at a very steady pace, and the tile looks beautiful!
Update 9-23-26- The floors are finished, and paint is being touched up inside the church. Mass will be back in church Friday, September 25th! Thank you to all who helped make the project … and the move from the church to St. Joseph’s Hall and back possible.
Update 9/24/26: Tile is complete. Things are moving back into the church. There are still some small things to complete, but Mass resumes in the church 9/25/26 at noon. There is a small lip around the tile. Also, since the narthex carpet has not been installed yet, the tile can be slippery. This is caused by dust and wetness. WATCH YOUR STEP!
