Losing a loved one is a time of deep sorrow and grief. As a parish community, we extend our heartfelt condolences and assure you of our prayers. Please know that you are not alone—our parish family is here to walk with you, offering comfort, guidance, and support as you navigate this challenging time. Rooted in our Catholic faith and hope in the Resurrection, we are committed to supporting you in both spiritual and practical ways throughout the funeral process.

To begin the process of arranging a funeral at our parish, please first submit your information here. After we receive your initial information, we will connect you with caring members of our team who will guide and support you through each step of the funeral preparations. You may also notify the Parish Office of your loved one’s passing by calling 770-416-0002 or emailing us at cranft@maryourqueen.com.

  • Volunteers work with members of the clergy to assist the family during this time of need, preparing for the Funeral Mass, and will also follow up with family members as needed.
  • Funeral Times: Our regular funeral times are 10:00am Monday, 10:00am and 2:00pm Wednesday-Friday, and 10:00 am on Saturday, when available. Alternate times are based on the availability of the clergy and the church.
  • Funeral Receptions: Families who are parishioners may schedule our Parish Hall for a funeral reception, based on availability. We do not have a Funeral Reception ministry; instead, we encourage families to arrange for catering (such as Publix) and set up as needed.
  • Grief Support: We offer a 7-week grief care support group. Trained volunteers are committed to aiding families grieving the death of a loved one with prayer and information about recovery and renewed hope.
  • All Souls Requiem Mass:  Honor the memory of your loved ones by adding their names to our Book of Remembrance during the month of October. We will remember your loved ones at our All Souls Requiem Mass.

Please consult the following liturgical resources as you prayerfully discern and plan for your or your loved one’s Funeral Mass.  We hope that these resources are helpful. They are not meant to replace the personal support that you may need with planning, rather as a guide for you to consult prior to scheduling a meeting.
