Mary Our Queen is delighted to invite parishioners to participate in a parish-wide 33-Day Consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary, beginning July 20 and concluding on August 22.

Following the spiritual method outlined in Preparation for Total Consecration according to St. Louis Marie de Montfort, participants will spend 33 days in prayer and reflection as they entrust themselves more fully to Jesus through Mary.

We have chosen these dates so that our consecration will culminate on August 22, the Memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary—our parish feast day. What a beautiful opportunity for our parish family to grow together in faith and devotion as we honor Mary, our Queen and Mother.

We hope you will join us on this special spiritual journey.

How do I sign up for the Consecration?

We will have tables set up outside the church on the weekends of July 11th & 12th and July 18th & 19th. Our volunteers will be happy to assist you with registering for the Consecration. Our brochure, which will be distributed on those weekends, will have a QR code that you can scan to register as well.

How do I pray the prayers for the 33 days?

We are following “Preparation for Total Consecration according to St. Louis Marie de Montfort”. We will have a link on our website, where you can follow along digitally. If you prefer a hard copy, you will be able to pick up a free copy at our registration table.

I’m afraid I might forget to pray here and there during the 33 days. Can you remind me to pray?

Yes we can! When you register, we will ask you for your email address. You will receive a daily reminder to pray.

Is there a community component?

Absolutely! There is strength in numbers with prayer, and we are praying for many from our parish to join our Consecration. In addition, we will have 3 dates where we will have the opportunity to gather together for prayer and reflection during our Marian Consecration. We will meet in St. Joseph’s Hall on these dates from 9:45 am—10:30 am: Sunday, August 2, Sunday, August 9, and Sunday, August 16. We will have light refreshments, and children are welcome!

Will I receive a certificate when I complete the Consecration?

Yes, please let us know the date you complete the Consecration (you can keep a record of this on the brochure we will be handing out), and we will print a certificate for you to pick up from the church office.
