Walk to Emmaus

Were not our hearts burning within us while he spoke to us on the way and opened the scriptures to us?
Parish Walk to Emmaus – Wednesday, April 8, 2026
5:30 pm  – Walk various trails around MOQ Campus
6:30 pm – Mass in Sanctuary with Picnic Dinner afterwards
Fraternus will be grilling Hamburgers and Hotdogs. Chips and Lemonade are provided. Parishioners are requested to bring a Side and/or Dessert.

Walk to Emmaus is an old European tradition that recalls the Biblical account in Luke 24, in which two disciples walking along the road encounter the risen Christ. Our event will reenact the Biblical story, offering short and long outdoor walking trails (viewable below) that all end back at the church for a 6:30 pm Mass. After Mass, we will have a picnic dinner. All are invited to join us!
