Please join us for this moving candlelight Mass before dawn in honor of Our Lady. White vestments are worn instead of the Advent violet because it is a votive Mass in Mary’s honor. In the dimly lit setting, priests and faithful prepare to honor the Light of the World, soon to be born, and offer praise to God for the gift of Our Lady. As the Mass proceeds and sunrise approaches, the church becomes progressively brighter, illuminated by the sun as our Faith is illumined by Christ. This will be the last of our Ember Day Jubilee Masses, and an excellent opportunity for pilgrims to receive a plenary indulgence during this Jubilee Year of Hope.
