Join us for wine and appetizers as we listen to Father Byrd present on the fascinating mystery of Meeting God. These talks will cover the gradual revelation of God and help us to understand how our ideas of God evolved and progressed up to and until the fullness of revelation in Christ Jesus. God remains the same, but He reveals Himself throughout salvation history. The patriarchs encounter God, and then the Lord further reveals Himself upon Sinai, and throughout the periods of the judges and the kings, and by way of multiple prophets. These revelations, taking place over centuries, each bring the great mystery of God more and more into focus. We can never fully understand God, but we are called to know and love Him. Let’s meet Him again together, and ponder how awesome He is.
